Weekend Update
As mentioned before, I went home to Keller, TX this weekend! I am a very family focused person; you would be hard pressed to find a group of siblings as close as me and mine. Not to mention my mom and I have the most unreal mother-daughter bond!
I got in around 8:00 Friday, my mom had made paleo meatloaf and a huge salad with these paleo compliant dressings. I have to make my way to Whole Foods this week to pick some up!
The entire time I was there we ate 100% clean, paleo, natural foods. I love having lean, mean, healthy parents!
Saturday we got up and went for a run around 7:40. Keller has a gorgeous trail that we adore running/walking on.
Saturday night we went and saw The Avengers (great flick!) and lights out early again. Sunday my parents normally go to mass at 5:00, but I begged them to go at 11:00 so we could sit together as a family. As I sat in the pew, I couldn't help but think- how great is our God! Especially to such an undeserving person like me, to be blessed with a family like this!
Thankfully, I get to see everyone in two weeks when Allison graduates! This family always has something to celebrate!

Around ten I told my mom I was exhausted because I hadn't slept well Thursday night. I told her "I think I stayed up because I was so excited to come see you." She laughed and said she barely slept that night either for the same reason! Needless to say, we were both passed out pretty soon after.

I kind of tweaked my knee a few weeks ago, so I have just been doing low impact cardio (cycling/elliptical/walking on incline) and on this run I hurt it again! Possibly needing to see someone about this, but until then, I will just avoid running!
We went home and got to work on our Paris plans! I have to say THANK YOU to everyone who messaged, text, or emailed us. We literally wrote down everyone's suggestions on a notepad and started mapping out our days. Something we learned pretty quickly- we can't do it all! But after about two and a half hours of buying museum passes, bike tours, fast passes and riverboat tours, I think we maxed out our time in Paris!
My grandparents and older brother William came over. We watched the Kentucky Derby, dad showed us the topographic map of our hike, and enjoyed the precious time we have to spend together!

Leaving is always hard, I cry every time I pack up and drive off, no matter how much I tell myself I won't! The time I spend with my parents is never taken for granted; all that they do is not lost on me.
