This weekend was so busy but so filling! Allison graduated from Texas A&M this weekend, so Friday afternoon I headed to College Station. It is an easy hour and a half drive from Houston to CS, so I made it in time to have dinner with Allison, Rob, and my grandparents. After dinner we went to Allison's house and helped her pack up and get ready to move.
We watched hours worth of 30 Rock while we packed and decided it is the funniest show that has ever aired on TV. They also showed me Dubsmash (I'm so behind on what's cool) and I died laughing. These two crack me up like no one else.
Saturday morning Allison and I got up at 5:45. We showered and got ready. When she put on her graduation robe and cap, I started crying! I still can't believe she is a graduate!
Rob and I dropped her off around 8:00, got seats with our parents, grandparents and the rest of the O'Gorman siblings. The ceremony was incredible, we whooped and cheered when Allison was called and announced as Summa Cum Laude!

Three Aggie children graduated, one more in 2017, then Paul in 2027!
Allison and I have always been close, despite being three and a half years apart! She has always been incredibly driven, in school and all aspects of life. I remember my senior year when she was going through recruitment how excited everyone was to have her join Delta Gamma; she later went on in our sorority to be VP Recruitment and then Stompfest coach, bringing home a 1st place trophy. She landed an internship, then job, at JP Morgan and has such a cool future ahead of her working for them in Dallas. Allison is a pillar of positivity, laughter, and joy for anyone who has the privilege of knowing her. Most people think that a younger sister looks up to her older sister, but for us it couldn't be more opposite. I admire and strive to acquire so many of the qualities she possesses. What a blessing she is in my life.
